You will always go with the latter.
Does that mean that your heart is blind?
Or is that your way to prevent it from being shattered?
In my heart you still matter,
I think together we can shine,
I know that I can't change a former,
But there's no reason the latter is in a bind.
The time away to me was a sign,
It was as if I was awaken by a hammer.
Even though things were in much malign,
There is still something to be enamored.
There's nothing I can do to change one's heart,
but maybe, just maybe, I can change your mind.
